Day 1 : Delhi – Almaty

Day 4: Charyn Canyon & Kolsai Lakes

● 12:00 Charyn Canyon located 200 kilometers away from Almaty. The canyon’s depth is 200 meters,
and the height of the vertical cliffs reaches 150 to 300 meters. The canyon itself is a natural
monument composed of sedimentary rocks with an age of around 12 million years.
● One of the highlights of the canyon is the so-called “Valley of Castles,” which consists of rocky
formations resembling towers, as if they were created by unknown giants. The Valley of Castles
stretches over 2 kilometers in length, with varying widths ranging from 20 to 80 meters.

● 16:30 Kolsai Lakes – one of the most beautiful places in Kazakhstan. These lakes are located at heights
1800, 2250 and 2700 meters above sea level. They are distinguished by the unique mountain
watershed consisting of three natural zones and amazing variety of rare plants and animals. Kolsai
Lakes are considered a pearl of Northern Tien-Shan located in 300 km from Almaty city.

Day 5: Shopping day + Kok Tobe

● Afterwards, visit Rahat Chocolate Factory, where they present a delightful assortment of chocolates
and sweets, each uniquely crafted to please diverse palates. From classic milk chocolates with
velvety smoothness to rich dark chocolates with intense cocoa flavors, Rahat offers a variety of

● The Kok-Tobe recreational area has a variety of amusement park type attractions and restaurants. It is
connected to downtown Almaty by a cable car line. The City Terminal is located near Hotel
Kazakhstan. Also, there is a 372 meters tall TV Tower at the foot of the mountain. The tower can be
seen from most parts of the city.
